This Natural Craft weekend programme encompasses a choice of basket making; varieties of natural cordage; bark containers; rabbit net making and natural colours and dyes. Everyone wont have the time to make everything so we ask you to prioritise your preferences. The weekend starts at 10am on Saturday and finishes around 4.30pm on Sunday.

The history of basket making is the longest of any of the crafts, longer than pottery or the carving of stone. As early man moved from place to place, he needed receptacles to carry his belongings and others in which to collect seeds and berries. Natural cordage is an essential bushcraft skill and deeply satisfying to create - did you know the stones of Stonehenge were hauled using Lime Bark Natural Cordage?!
Over the weekend you will make a variety of natural craft items to proudly take home.
All catering is provided over the weekend - rustic wholesome country fayre. The evening is spent around the campfire continuing your craft items or simply enjoying the company of your new like minded friends.
Ideal for a group of friends (min 8) £150.00 per person (16-18 yrs accompanied by participating adult please) to include all materials and catering. Personal camping equipment not provided - please refer to suggested kit list on main bushcraft course menu. Please email us to check availability.
