Archery is a wonderful sport for everyone from any walk of life.  It focuses the mind by developing a high level of concentration.  There`s a wonderful complexity to archery...with the mechanics of the bow, an arrow, a string...with the physical complexity of your bow hand and arm, your drawing hand, anchor and release.  However, if you can keep it simple in your own mind and don`t let the elements run away with you, it all ends with a surpassingly beautiful simplicity - the shooting of an arrow.

Your instructor Scott, has an archery background of more than 15 years experience of shooting many styles of bows - to include self bows; long bows; American flat bows; Mongolian composite bows; recurve and the highly evolved compound bows.  Each having their own unique form and style.  Scott is a qualified Grand National Archery Society Instructor and has competed in many indoor and outdoor competitions, amongst many archery achievements, he has held the position of 2nd in Kent for Gents Indoor Compound Tournament.

One to One Personal Archery Coaching

From beginner to advanced.  If you are looking for private archery tuition, we would be delighted to come to you and provide expert tuition for one hour (or more) sessions.  Fee by arrangement and subject to a suitable and safe site being available.

 

 

Parties & Celebrations

For an unusual and fun activity to include for a birthday party, wedding, retirement party, or any other celebration with friends - choose Archery!

If you have a suitable, safe area, we will come to you.  If you haven`t the space at home, you can always come to us in our woodland setting. All equipment provided for 4 people to shoot at a time.  Once everyone is familiar with basic archery techniques, we will arrange a fun competition to round off the afternoon. Our fee is £295 for an afternoon or £495 for a day. Travel expenses will apply if more than 40 miles radius of Canterbury.

 

`Have a Go` Archery Sessions

If you are hosting an event or country fayre within 40 miles radius of Canterbury, we would be delighted to come along and provide fun `Have a Go` Archery sessions.  We hold full Public Liability Insurance.  Please email us with your chosen dates.

Schools Archery

Archery is a very popular event for schools.  If you have a suitable safe area, we can bring all the equipment to your school for a fun `Have a Go` Archery day for your students. Our fee is £550 for the day. Travel expenses will apply if more than 40 miles radius of Canterbury.

Archery Days

A full day of the archery experience at our woodland site near Canterbury.  You will learn about:

• The history of archery
• Different types of bows from simple self bows to highly sophisticated compound bows
• Rules and regulations regarding archery practice
• Equipment choice & recommendations from beginners to advanced
• Maintenance and safety
  
• Various styles of archery
• Archery etiquette
• Arrow selection and components
• Archery range layouts
  
• Plenty of time for tuition, practice and to develop your own style
• All equipment for the day supplied
