Tool Maintenance and Safety Safe tool use in the provision of Forest Schools is essential. During this day, we will cover the safe working practice of using knives, axes, bow saws, bill hooks and froes. We will also cover the safe transportation, storage, and maintenance of bladed tools. Of course, we will cover the UK Knife Law. This is a practical hands on day, when you will take the mystery out of caring for and sharpening your bladed tools. You will spend time learning and practising how to sharpen tools, going away with complete confidence in this crucial area of Forest School.
